Pspice
I created a bunch of simulations in the student version of Pspice. This is an older version of Pspice (version 9.1) available at
http://web-ee.com/downloads/simulators/
Below are two examples which illustrate the type of switches, diodes, and modulation techniques I tend to use. By modifying these examples, other power conversion simulations can be created.
The student version is severely restricted and the active rectifier example barely fits.
This is a standard six-transistor inverter. Change the modulation index d from 0.8 to 100 to see 180 degree VSI operation.
